Hi Reader
I have Knoppix running from CDROM on my laptop and my Me Tower.
I am struggling with connection to the internet with both computers (both are ok with Windows - 98se on
the laptop and Me with the tower)
I took the card out of the tower last night and noted all inscriptions in the hope that someone can tell me
what I have hi hi.
I have downloaded 'scanmodem' from the internet and tried it on the laptop last night. I can't remember
exactly what the report said other than it presented a report to two files which I can't find. It looks as
if the reports are writter to 'disk' which in my case is a CDROM - Um !
I can say that it didn't find a modem - where to now ?

The twoer :-
The card has the following written on it - non of it means anything to me - does it help you to tell me
what it is (is it a modem for one thing ?)

Well, what is it ?
I specifically want to know if it is a modem, or do I have a 'Software' modem ?
