Rules Manager: Ward Silver NΨAX (n0ax@arrl.net) or contact the current club
president
(see www.wwdxc.org).
New rules for 2009:

through the body of water. It is acceptable to operate from bridges or islands
in
the body of water that are crossed by or abut the county line.
- 23 Aug updates the description and abbreviations for Canadian provinces to
the
official RAC version. There are still only eight (8) Canadian multipliers.

activated
SPECIAL BONUS STATION
A QSO with the sponsoring clubs (Western Washington DX Club) call sign,
W7DX, will add a 500-point bonus for each mode (Phone, CW, and Digital). A
total of 1500 points may be earned in this manner (not 500 points for each QSO
on each different band). A single-mode entry (Phone, CW, or Digital) may claim
the 500 point bonus only once. Mixed-mode entries may only claim the bonus on
the modes for which the log has sufficient contacts (see Frequencies and
Modes).
Bonus points are added after all other scoring is completed (they are not
multiplied by the multiplierφ). The Special Bonus Station will count for its
normal
county multiplier. Contacts with the Special Bonus Stations will also earn 2
points on phone and 4 points on CW or Digital.
SCORING
Total = QSO points from all bands x total multipliers + Special Bonus
Station
bonus points
Mobile sum QSO points from all counties before multiplying. Do not calculate
separate scores from each county.
LOGS
Logs must show date and time in UTC, stations worked, exchange sent and
received, band and modes used and QSO points claimed.
Washington Salmon Run Rules 2009
Cabrillo format logs are required for entries with more than twenty-five (25)
QSOs. Please review your Cabrillo log to ensure that county-line stations are
logged as two QSOs and that abbreviations are consistent.
Logs in non-Cabrillo format (less than 25 QSOs) can be on paper or plain text
files if they show the QSO information in columns with each multiplier
identified
as it is worked.
Show each multiplier as it is worked
Log county line QSOs as two separate QSOs do not combine counties
on one line.
Summary sheet listing QSO totals by mode, total multipliers, and final
