80 Meters Net: ONTARS Celebrating 36 Years JAN-08-2008

I'd like to invite as many Amateurs that can make it, or
hear the ONTARS NET on 3755 ... from about 0630hrs to
1800hrs, on their "36th" Anniversary...
When I singed into the NET January 8th.,1997 for the
"25th" Anniversary, VE3RJD Ralph Darlington the Net
Manager sent me a QSL card to commenorate the day...
The following is what was on the card....

ONTARIO AMATEUR RADIO SERVICE NET ...celebrating 36yrs,
was started January 8th.,1972 by VE3BC Bruce Carveth.
The ONTARS NET is for., Emergency Calls, Passing Traffic
Weather, and Road Condition, Arrange Phone Patches.
A great place for all Amateurs, Handicapped and visually
Impaired to make contacts.
The NET runs every day from 0600 to 1800 hours.
