*USB* is used.
Each channel is 3KHz wide

But it's legal to use any mode so long as it's no more than 3KHz wide.
However USB is maintained to ensure user services (who we are borrowing the
freqs from) can talk to us, as their rigs normally only have USB.

Only permit holders are allowed to operate on 5Mhz.
