Hi Bob and readers,
First of all, if you find it "extremely offensive" I beg you not to shoot
the messenger. If you don't like what is published in your own country
and available worldwide I suggest you complain to those who tossed the
boomerang in the first place.
Second, just for your information the legal definition of libel must meet
certain criteria. First among them is falsity, spreading lies may be
considered libel IF they cause financial loss or damage. Damaging one's
reputation leading to a business (financial) loss may be considered
libel. Even if I lied about Parliment there's no way it would stop them
from raking in the cash, no damage done except perhaps a few bruised
egos. Most importantly truth may never be considered libel no matter how
much loss or damage it may cause, in fact we have a saying, "If the truth
hurts, TOUGH!"
You have this nasty habit of kicking words around like "libel" when
you're clueless as to their meaning, anything that doesn't meet your
criteria is redefined to suit you. Then again I have said this about your
dictatorial attitude before and you refuse to listen. That is what always
gets you in trouble and bulls like this are the result, you simply never
learn, your eyes are blind, your ears are deaf and your brain is asleep.
If you can't see the outside look inward, detect and correct before
criticizing others and bandying words about that don't apply and only
make you look foolish.
Perhaps your criticism of the American political system and it's
corruption stems from our liberal and often sensational press while the
publications you read are more concervitive. Rather I tend to believe you
have the blinkers on, "A man hears what he wants to hear and disregards
the rest." Paul Simon, The Boxer. I simply can't believe your Parliment
nor any branch of your government is spotless, shining stars in the
darkness with god like qualities. It flies in the face of all logic and
reason, Jesus pointed out our dark side when he told the crowd "Let he
who is without sin cast the first stone." and they all hung their heads
in shame and walked away.
