Hi Bob and readers, particularly UK,
A few days ago I read a nice article in The Australian about your
Parlimentarians' criminal pasts. It gave a nice breakdown too, I was
amused by how many child molesters, rapists, robbers and other nasty
people are running the Canberra Circus.
Andy, they aren't just fools, they're convicted felons! Well, I guess
history lives in England's far flung penal colony, especially when you
consider that Plymouth MA was only a bunch of religious outcasts.
Oh dear, I did it again! When will I ever stop offending people with
politics and religion? I hope they don't cut off my supply of Foster's,
I'll have to fall back on Bass which will probably offend someone in
Burton on Trent. Well, there's always Guiness, at least the Irish have a
sense of humor.
One last thought, here we have an equal time law applied to election
campaign media coverage so I'm bound to mention Senator Ted Kennedy, the
man who finally proved that cars don't float. Uh oh, now I've offended
the Irish, there goes the Guiness! I'll have to drill my own beer well
now, I just hope I have enough pipe to reach Australia.
