How can you say I don't know nothing about them, when we DO know that the
Aussie bureaucrats didn't know what they were talking about, and adopted
a stance incomplete opposition to everyone else, who did know a thing or two
about frequency planning ?

It's even on the IARU website, and written by people who were at the 
conference. They sound like a reliable source to me.

Perhaps the Aussie bureaucrats were trainee bureaucrats who only turned up
for the beer ? ;-)
