Subj: Radiolocation 1.810 upwards?

I can hear what appear to be radiolocation signals upto 1.825MHz here,
and yet in Region 1 the ITU allocation for radiolocation stops at 1.810MHz.

Region 2 does NOT have an allocation within the 160m amateur band at all.

Region 3 *does* !

So what the heck am I hearing ?

At the moment I surmise that somewhere in europe or maybe North Africa
might be operating radiolocation services that I am hearing.

I would be interested to hear from 160m users if they have local
radiolocation services in our 160m band.

I just want to know where the signals are coming from, as I doubt I'm
really hearing stuff from Region 3 ;-)
