Hi 7MHz fans,
Well after reading the section about the extension to this band on the
OFCON (Damn I keep getting this wrong!), OFCOM website, it reads....
"It is proposed to vary the Schedule to the Foundation, Intermediate and
Full Amateur Licences"
Doe's this word "VARY" mean that M3's (Foundation Licensee's) and 2E1's &
2E0's (Intermediate Licensee's) will not get a look in at the extension to
the 7MHz band?
I spoke to OFCOM about this and when the extension would take place,
whilst I was at the Leicester Rally on Saturday 2nd October, and they
didn't say a word about the "VARY" between licensee's, but they did say
that the extension would be take place ready for the CQ WW Contest. So
for those who like contesting it'll be a godsend, but for those who were
itching to have a normal QSO on the new addition to the 40m band, will
have to wait a further 48hr's!
Oh well from one rushed thing to another, the GREAT BRITISH Amateur is
always going to be one step behind the others....
