Hi Wilbert and all,

Yes, such provocative remarks sure do draw flak and yes, deservedly so. 
Frankly I hate the weekend contests for the same reasons, but have enough 
sense to:

A) Listen to the WARC bands for something else
B) USE the contest to rack up some rare DX even though I'm not entered.

The latter has advantages for me obviously and the contester gets a point.

No need to be a sour puss, contests are a fact of life, live with it.
BTW, here we go again with the fad word of the day, "bigots". It seems 
these days everyone who voices an opinion is a bigot, would be nice to 
know who changed the meaning of the word and why. Then just to be picky, 
the proper word is "bombasted", without the L. If he were "bomblasted he 
wouldn't have written anything, he'd be dead. (;->)
