Hello Barry and readers,
Come now Barry, haven't you got the sense God gave a goose? You should
know better than to argue with Andy Pandy, especially since you haven't
got it right either. Pay attention CLOSELY this time please!
The original proposal was to EXTEND the 40M Amateur band making it 6.9 to
7.3Mc with the portion 6.9 to 7.1Mc being Amateur exclusive. The portion
7.1 to 7.3Mc was to remain AS IS. The broadcasters had nothing to say in
the matter as they had made no proposals whatsoever.
Now if you're going to hurl insults, you can at least get THEM right, for
a change. You can begin by looking up "pendant" in the dictionary. At
least Andy has it right, he hangs himself every time.
Another prime example is home made dangling participle,
cantreadabulletinptoperlyitis" which should be (if you can call it
proper) "cantreadabulletinproperlyosis". I see nothing inflamed woth his
cantreadabulletinproperly, only his transposition of suffixes "itis" and
"osis".
Now if you really want to do something constructive, you can help by
proposing a proper location for Andy Pandy Land or maybe help us sort out
it's ministries. Since we're an island wandering aimlessly about the
Pacific, when we find a proper home we can dump Andy overboard as he will
have served his purpose and become redundant. Since he produces plenty of
hot air with considerable thrust, we have been using him as a gas turbine
to propel us much like a hovercraft. Yes, we hover just above the waves,
suspended by his dangling.........
participle.
