Hi Dave,
I have been monitoring 14.150Mc for the past hour and hear nothing
unusual. A while ago there was a special event station I could hear but
weakly and didn't get the callsign. I heard several US stations working
him and there didn't seem to be a problem or at least I didn't hear any
complaints. The frequency has since fallen silent, except for the usual
static I'm plagued with. I hope this information is somehow useful to you.
BTW, since your description "...wide noise...recycling itself..." is
vague at best I'm sorry I can take no educated guess as to what may be
the cause of it.
