Hi John,
Save the 4-400A tetrodes for the CB "leenyar", only takes 15W of grid
drive to kick them to full KW. (;->)
Try a couple of 3-500Zs with graphite anodes, 100W grounded grid requires
no neutralization.
BTW, some of these "rice burners" properly adjusted and a good amp
throttled back sound just fine on AM. Uh, make that DSB w/carrier.
