Hi Ian and all,
Right, according to dietary law animals without cloven hooves are considered
"unclean" not meaning dirty but polluted. Of course the media (haven't seen
it here) avoids talk of religion as always being it's such a volitile
subject. This is the first time I've heard mention of horses being treated
with chemicals although the horse meat scare has veen viral on the internet.
I have no idea why they would be, maybe certain media outlets well known for
making up news as they go along have put their spin on this as they do with
everything. Personally I think Colonel Potter of M*A*S*H was some sort of a
prophet; "HORSE HOCKEY!"
