"Caramel Nut (loaf)

Ingredients

1 Breakfast cup Dates
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1 Tablespoon Butter
3/4 Breakfast cup brown sugar
1 Egg
1 Breakfast cup chopped walnuts
Few drops vanilla essence
2 Breakfast cups Plain Flour
Pinch of Salt
1 Teaspoon Baking powder

Instructions

Cover 1 breakfastcup dates with boiling water; add 1 teaspoon baking soda
and soak for one hour. Beat 1 teaspoon butter with 3/4 breakfastcup brown
sugar; add 1 egg and beat well, then add 1 breakfastcup chopped walnuts,
few drops of vanilla essence, dates & liquid. Lastly, add 2 breakfastcups
flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder and pinch of salt. Bake in a greased tin
about 1 hour at 450 Fahrenheit (230 degrees Celsius)."
