"Fruit Loaf

Ingredients
2 breakfast cups Flour
1 pinch Salt
1 heaped teaspoon Baking powder
2 ounces (56 grams) Butter
1/2 breakfast cup Sugar
1/2 breakfast cup Walnuts (chopped)
1 breakfast cup Fruit (Raisins, Sultanas, etc)
1 Egg
1 breakfast cup Milk (about)
Instructions
Sift flour, salt and baking powder. Rub in butter; add sugar then fruit,
etc. Make into a soft dough with beaten egg and milk. Bake in a greased
loaf tin 1 hour at 425 Fahrenheit (215 degrees Celsius)."

maker of baking powder, custard powder, cornflour and jelly crystals.
