Cheese Pastry

Ingredients
6 ounces (170 grams) Flour
1 scant teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon Salt
Pinch Cayenne
3 ounces (85 grams) Butter or dripping
3 or more ounces (85 grams) Dry Cheese (grated)
About 3 tablespoons Milk or Water
Instructions
Sift the dry ingredients together. Rub in the butter until the mixture has
the appearance of fine breadcrumbs; add grated cheese. Bind to a soft, but
not a sticky dough with the liquid. Roll out to desired thickness (fairly
thin); cut into shapes and bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit (230 degrees
Celsius) about ten minutes.
