Hello TS2000 users !
I am using a TS2000 for satellit communication and Packet-Radio.
One big problem of this great transceiver is, that I do not get any 9600 baud
packet signal from an external modem to the air.
What is the trick ?

I tried it with a PTC2, with a RigExpert-Modem, with a G3RUH compatible
homebrew and also with a Hamsoft DigiKeyer.
The main channel of the TS2000 is switched to external TNC, radio baudrate
9600 baud.
The cable is like described in the different manuals of the TS2000 and the modems.
I changed the audio level from lowest to highest on both sites.
The TS2000 only sends a clean FM carrier without any modulation.

Obviously I am not alone with this problem.
I read about this issue in different internet groups, on websites, etc. but I
did not find any solution.
Some requests are several years old.

The internal modem is no alternative for me unless somebody has a piece of
software which divides the TNC and the CAT datas to 2 different virtual com ports.
I need the CAT datas for satellite control parallel to the TNC.

Thanks for any helpful advice.
