KAM Processor lockup problem.

According to the Kantronics experts I talked to, a lockup of the

processor which I experienced sporadically can be caused by using a power

supply which has a large capacity in the output circuit or one with a slow

collapse time to 0V when power supply is turned off or during a mains power

failure or interuption.

(Mine had a large cap in the output and no regulator)

This caused the KAM or KAM-Plus to lockup and it needed a hard reset and

new parameter setup to restore operation.

Cure: Use a separate small power supply for the KAM-Plus with a fast collapse

time to 0V when the AC input it is removed. It works!

Have fun and keep on KAMing
