Do you want to see DAMA implemented into Kantronics TNC's?
In a phone call today with Kantronics, I asked them about the status of
DAMA mode being implemented into the KAM-plus and other Kantronics TNC's.
They told me that in order to move it up their priority list, they need
to hear from us in writing. DAMA is only one of several improvements
being considered, so if it is to be moved up on the priority list they
need to receive your inputs. What they have asked to have included in your
letters or petitions is the following:
1. Explain why you think DAMA should be implemented in their
TNC's. Give plenty of details. They told me they are looking for
reasons to give it a higher priority over other changes on the books.
2. Let them know if you wish to be a BEDA tester of the DAMA
mode.
They are NOT using the DAMA mode in the states, so they haven't had it
tested yet. They welcome petitions, so if someone would collect a list
of hams who want to have DAMA send it to them. The list must include names,
callsigns, and their signatures. It must be mailed to them.

They emphasized that they really want to hear from us in Europe about
this subject! DON'T LET THIS OPPORTUNITY PASS BY !!! Get the paper out
