         Good afternoon Randy,...
Ok, with the time settings... here is a suggestion format for the
time which
will give your station several advantages.... first of all the settings...
da yymmddhhmmss sets the time (don't forget to set the
time to actual UTC or Z)

daystr d mmm hhmmZ sets the FORMAT and is typed in lower
case except for the Z

The advantageous of using this format are:
         1. shorter listing of J and N logs (each J or N request prints
the callsign heard and the
date-time-group 18 times) so cutting back the size of the
timestamp is a plus.
         2. gives you more room in the subject line of the PBBS for a
possibly better description
              of the subject.
         3. Makes the time easier to read and compare with the callers
time...

If you do not with to use UTC or Zulu time... then leave off the Z
and just set daystr d mmm hhmm
and set your time with the da command to local time.

Hope everyone is enjoying the listserve and thanks to Lee, WB4QOJ
for setting it up.
Remember when sending any messages to the listserve, even as a
reply don't forget
to put NET105: as the first part of the subject line.

All the best from Nova Scotia, where it is presently snowing.
         7 3,... Burt & Phyllis
