    Hi,

If you use Tpk as terminal node program with a Kam tnc, I wonder if you
could throw some light on a problem that I have. My Kam is a version
7.0 and TPK is version 1.83d.

Everything with this setup works extremely well and I have no problems
other than the fact that Tpk remote commands often have to be repeated
by a packet station, connected to me, to get my system to react to such
commands. Alternatively the other station has to hit <ENTER> or
(return) before giving the next remote command to get my system to
    react.

When a station connects, the connect message is transmitted normally
and often the first remote command seems to work straight away. It is
usually from the second remote command onwards, issued by a connected
station, that the problem arises that he has to repeat such a command
to get reaction from my station.

I notice that with my Baycom modem, using tfpcx.exe and tncded.exe, the
problem described above, does not occur. I have looked at my Kam
parameters very carefully and have experimentally changed a number of
them to try to overcome this problem but have not been successful other
than when I either switch "Echo to on" or "Mcon to on" then I do
find that the problem is sidestepped. However I do not like the effect
those parameter produce when switched on. I would therefore appreciate
any advice that you may offer...thanks
