Hello!
>This is the problem:
It really is a problem!
>I have got a kantronics 9612 and I do not know how to use flexnet with this
>tnc.
You can't aslong as kantronics don't makes a 6pack firmware or adds 6pack
support to their current.
>In kiss mode, I only could use port 1 at 1k2 bauds but I would like to use
>port 2 at 9k6 bauds only with flexnet. Any idea?¨?¨
Yous get your self a scc board or similair cheaper modem, for low speeds are
there often no need for a tnc anyway. A tnc doesn't work better.
If you really need a tnc is the only good alternative a tnc3.
>With BPQ System you can use both ports in kiss mode but how in flexnet
>system?¨?¨
When kantronics have written the software, as they have done to make it
possible to use xkiss with bpq can you do that also.
With a tnc3 and 6pack can you use all ports.
>Does anybody know if flexnet has kiss program for kantronics 9612?¨?
Kiss shall never be used, it is only causing problems!
Flexnet and other goos packet drivers use 6pack instead.
But since you use a kantoinics tnc are you stuck with kiss, and all its
problems, disadvantages etc.
>6pack program is able to use several ports with several TNC-2, however kiss
>program has not this option.
The kiss program is for serial links only, you cant use that for connecting a
tnc!
Sorry but there are not much you can do!
Use your tnc is host mode, it is a tnc, using kiss will only turn it
in to a bad working modem.
Kiss and bpq is no hit!
