Hiya, and thanks for reading this message!
I currently own a KPC-3, and am wondering what advantages does the KPC-3 Plus
have? Can the KPC-3 do GPS with the upgraded firmware? If not, Id like to know
how the GPS works with the KPC-3 plus, does it require special software? I
noticed some packet systems, displaying their QTH, in a form of code, that I
can not explain, I require some schooling if someone maybe of assitance, I
would like to track packet stations that are local to me, on a map, and see
where they are located, for now I am establishing this map with zip codes, and
it seems to work fairly well, if anyone can assist further, please let me know.

Also what advantages does the 8.1 firmare or latest firmware have over the 5.1
for the kpc-3 and is it worth it to purchase the kpc - 3 plus instead?

Thank you again for your time, and helpfulness.
