Hi ops !
I have my KAM for abt. 10 years.
I have the software update to vers. 8.0E with ext.board.
It works fine all the years. But now there is a mistake on the
vhf port.
when I have the mic connector plugged in in my vhf transceiver
(both, kenwood and/or alinco) the transceiver switched the
transmitter on after some minutes of standby operation.
there is no modulation on the signal. only the carrier .
the transmission-LED on the KAM is not on ! KAM is still
standby...(receiving)
this mistake is only on the vhf port. the hf port is ok !
anyone any ideas ??? I think, there is a mistake on the
ptt-switching-circuit in the vhf-port of the kam. But i have no
schematic diagram.
please help me.
