GB1WCD and GB0WCD (Wakefield Chantry District) will be on the air over the
JOTA weekend this year from Kettlethorpe Scouts, Wakefield.
It is planned to be active on HF and VHF/UHF using mainly SSB and FM, but
it is also hoped that there will be some packet activity.
The packet activity will include some time on the Unconnected Net
frequency of 144.800MHz using the UI-View program. (For those outside the
UK, this is a program written by G4IDE which is similar in operation to
such programs as WinAPRS and DosAPRS).
If any Scout or Guide stations would like to pass on messages, please send
