We are operating during TDOTA on behalf of the Wingerworth Scouts at the
Scouts
Hut, located in the village of Wingerworth, about 3 miles south of
Chesterfield,
Derbyshire, England.

We hope you enjoy Jamboree On The Air, most of us here and visiting groups
are trying for our Radio Communication Badges. The station will be QRV during
the Weekend of 17/18 th October 1999 on 80, 40, 20, 15 & 2 metres and also we
are using packet radio on 144.9850 and 432.650 Mhz for local contacts, perhaps
we will be able to pass messages to you direct on the air during the weekend.
GB2WS is the callsign of the Wingerworth Scouts. Wingerworth is the
birthplace of Lady Baden Powell. She was born in 1889 !
