                Message from John G0THG

The Scouts from Hastings,East Sussex, UK. will be operating Packet
Station GX6HH one of the call signs used by HERC the Hastings Electronics
and Radio Club. We send our greetings to all other groups who are taking
part. The station will be using GB7SXE for sending and receiving messages
and may also be connected to the GB7DXK packet cluster during the weekend.

Hastings is situated on the south coast of the United Kingdom 100 kilometres
south of London - it is of course the Hastings of 1066 historical fame.

There will be a live 2 mtr.Packet station on 144.850 on Saturday
17th October and possibly on Sunday 18th October. We would like as
many JOTA messages as possible sent to our local BBS In any event all
messages will be answered and we are looking forward to making as many
contacts as possible.

The station will also be operating HF with the callsign GX6HH/P and VHF
using GX1HHH, ATV on 23cms will be GX2LL most of the weekend. If you hear
the station on air please call in.
