JAMBOREE ON THE AIR 1998
Once again the 25th Chester (Oldfield) Scout Group will be
QRV in JOTA this year on the 16th 17th and 18th of October
using the callsign GB2COS from their Headquarters in the
City of Chester. The station will be QRV on 10,12,15,17,
20,40,80 and 160 metres as well as on 2 metres and 70cms.
The packet station will be operational under the packet
address GB2COS@GB7DEE.#51.GBR.EU . It is also hoped that
this year contacts will be made by satellite. The Group will
also be monitoring their weather satellite tracking system.
The station welcomes contacts from other stations and look
forward to another good JOTA. Best wishes from GB2COS
