± Hello all Troops, Greetings from Brazilian Boy Scouts!! ±

± J.O.T.A is an annual Scout event in which Boy Scouts, Girl ±
± Scouts and Guides from all over the World could contact each other by ±
± means of an Amateur Radio Station. J.O.T.A. '95 will take place ±
± Saturday October 21 at 00:00 Z to Sunday October 22 at 24:00 Z. ±
± ±
± Last year, about 400 Brazilian stations took a part on it. ±
± This year the Federal Communications Department of Brazil bestow special ±
± callsings for two stations: ±
± ±
± P Y 2 G J R = P W 2 S (couts) and ±
± P Y 2 Z Y = P W 2 J (amboree) ±
± ±
± PY2GJR / PW2S is the Baden Powell Patrol Net Leader, ±
± from the Scout Group "Joao Ramalho". PY2ZY / PW2J is the Sao Paulo ±
± State J.O.T.A. Regional Organizer, and woodbadge Scouter, Paulo E. J. ±
± Moraes. In both stations,every year scouts representing 15 to 20 Scout ±
± groups at least took place. ±
± ±
± We're asking for packet radio messages from all over the ±
± World, about Radio Scouting and Jamboree on the Air. Also scheduling ±
± HF contacts for J.O.T.A.! These stations will meet on Saturday Oct. ±
± 21 at 13:00 Z on 14.290 KHz, at 16:00 Z on 7.090 KHz, and at 19:00 Z ±
± on 28.990 KHz. Also on Packet Radio, at INTERNET on Ping-Pong release ±
± (IP 44.137.32.27 - Channel 1907) from 13:00 to 20:30 Z. ±

± Every contact/message will receive our special QSL cards ±
± for the activity, and of course, we could schedule and special QRG or ±
± QTR to contact to you, just ask for it! Hope to hear someting about ±
