This message came to me today by FAX from 9K2RA "KARS":-
==========================
Dear Hams,
Please note that in coordination with Kuwait Amateur Radio Society "KARS"
and Kuwait Boy Scouts Association "KBSA" will participate in the above
mentioned mundane event for the first time. Meetings have already been held
with authorities in charge of scout activities in Kuwait the following
points were agreed upon:-
1- Establishing a Radio Station at the HQ of KBSA under the Callsign of
9K2BI during the event. The Station will be provided with all required
pieces of equipment and their accessories. Noting that the station will
eventually become permanent.
2- During the event scheduled from 18 to 19 Oct the station will be
operated and administered by members of KARS with the participation of
KBSA's members including ex-scouts.
Thank you
