What you think is a bug, is in reality proper behavior.

This is because prior to the fix, JNOS2 would insert it's own BID upon
receipt of a message without a bid which is why there were so many BID
changes by AA6HF and N9LYA. Now this no longer occurs and dupes are
halted.

Proper log entry.
If you were to insert a bid here the mail would have been sent just fine.
JNOS2 now forces proper mail insertions or else it rejects them.
If you are set up so that your user is also flagged as a bbs, you may want
to change your settings in ftpusers so that you're not a bbs. As soon as
your bbs sends JNOS2 a SID, then it automatically will go into PBBS mode.
Similar to an auto-detect.
