Award for Eamon EI9GQ

We were delighted to see that at the recent AGM of the
RSGB Eamon EI9GQ was awarded the Ostermeyer Trophy for
his series of construction articles in RadCom. We are
sure that all who receive RadCom will agree that the
award is well merited for the high quality informative
articles which he writes.
In 2007, the IRTS awarded the Collins Cup to Eamon in
recognition of his work through these articles in
promoting home construction and the self training aspect
of amateur radio.

Pat Conway Cup

There is a nice picture in the June RadCom of IRTS
President Paul EI2CA presenting the Pat Conway Cup to
Herbie Graham GI6JPO at the recent AGM in Dundalk. The
cup was awarded to Herbie in recognition of his work for
amateur radio particularly through his active support of
the Lough Erne Amateur Radio Club. Herbie is a regular
caller to this News bulletin and we always welcome his
reports
