Hello Frank and land line lovers,

If you favor land line communications over Amateur Radio, so be it. You
are therefore considered simply a communicator and not an Amateur Radip
operator.

There is much more to Amateur Radio than linking computers together over
a telephone network, doing so isn't even a part of the hobby nor is of
the service at all.

If the intent and purpose of Amateur Radio is unclear to you, I suggest
reading and UNDERSTANDING section ONE of your rules and regulations.

Offended purist? Not I, because I am an Amateur Radio operator who knows
the difference between two completely seperate and distinct hobbies and
two seperate and distinct modes of communication. You may consider me
DISGUSTED with those who don't understand and ignorantly follow the land
line lid party line, blindly, and to the degridation and eventual
destruction of Amateur Radio if this trend is allowed to continue and
spread like cancer.

FYI, linking computers over a peer to peer network is one of my hobbies
and I actively participate in it. I just have sense enough not to allow
it to contaminate Amateur Radio by linking my server to a tranceiver.
