IRLP Node 6444 Master Rob/VK4RB has fixed the node control computer
and has put the system back online as of Monday October 1st 1300local (0300UTC).
Rob would like the node to be used a lot during Monday so he can assess
the performance of the node and see if it will fall over again. So get on and flog it !
Stations in Townsville -
go VK4RAT UHF Voice Repeater
you rx 438.225MHz tx 433.225MHz
when dialing or talking remember to press PTT, mentally count 1 2 3 then transmit
with confidence. Make sure you are in a good reception spot - the node won't decode noisy
or hesitant dtmf tones.
Stations from elsewhere in range of IRLP
Townsville node number is 6444
when dialing or talking remember to press PTT, mentally count 1 2 3 then transmit
with confidence. Make sure you are in a good reception spot - your node won't decode noisy
or hesitant dtmf tones.
Note that the Townsville Node still has the audible third harmonic of the sub-audible control tone
on the UHF Repeater so you will hear a hum on transmissions.
Reception and performance reports to TARC on vk4wit@wia.org.au
