IPARC-Contest-Rules
The International Police Association Radio Club hearty invites all Radio Hams worldwide to take part in the IPARC-Contest on the first weekend in November.
The Contest will set up the possibility to acquire the Sherlock
Holmes Award and the Trophies in silver and gold.
1. Contest-Times
CW Saturday 06.00-10.00; 14.00-18.00 UTC
SSB Sunday 06.00-10.00; 14.00-18.00 UTC
2. Contest-Bands
CW 3500-3560; 7000-7040; 14000-14060; 21000-21100; 28000-28100
SSB 3700-3800; 7040-7100; 14125-14300; 21150-21300; 28200-28600

After QRG change the OP has to operate at least 15 minutes on
the new frequency.
3. Classes
No difference between members and non members.
a) Multi/Multi
b) single OP/all bands (no support by a second person)
c) multi OP/one transceiver in operating only
d) SWL (if a callsign is issued which allows to take part in
the Contest you have to do so)
4. Contest Traffic
Call: CQ IPA Contest
The controll number ist composed of RS(T) plus a three-figure
QSO number, beginning with 001. IPARC members transmit the
appendix IPA, US IPARC members transmit the abbreviation of
their State too. You may exchange a controll number only once
per band.
5. Multiplier
IPARC member per DXCC country respectively US State.
6. Evaluation
Each participant has to do his own evaluation. Every station
counts 1 point, every IPARC station 5 points.
The points must be investigated for each band by multiplication
of QSO-points and multipliers of this band.
Scores of each band must be added to get the total points.
