Hallo Ron. Just been reading your tale of woe about your computer running wild
and it just reminded me of the story of the Sorcerers Apprentice.....sorry!
Hope you have managed to get things sorted out and you are on an even keel again.
Sorry I cannot help or advise as I`ve never had (or want) that problem.
Conditions here last Sunday weree terrible with a very high noise level and
could just hear two or three very weak Continentals so no chance of hearing and
joining the Nets. How were things your end, better I hope.
Will not be on this coming Sunday as going over to Whitby in North Yorks for a
few days. From the weather forecast sounds as if we might need Arctic survival kit.
Its cold and wet here today, although we have been having a few really mild and
sunny days.
Bye for now - keep taking the tablets.

One of my son Paul's team, in Hong Kong viewed my Web Page and I clicked on
his address, and sent him a thank you message.
When I did all "Hell" broke loose and various messages flashed up to say
that the "Folder" was damaged and being repaired.
I have spent most ofyesterday at it but the real worry was that it had
created another "Internet Default Server" and during the time all this was
going on it had created 1.2GB of garbage files, and I was rapidly running
out of available Hard Disk.
I could not delete the whole folder but had to delete 166 files one by one.
And at one stage they were recreating themselves, but not as fast as I was
deleting them.
The upshot is that I had to dump all my RECEIVED/SENT/and Archive Files.
That seemed to do the trick.
It probably was "Chicken Virus" from Hong Kong.
I have just put this in to tell you that I was pretty short of "News"
anyway and what little I had went to that big home Bill Gates has created in the sky.
It did have its good side in that my achieve files had reached over the two
thousand mark, and one day I was going to have to bite the bullet and go
through them and dump the unwanted messages.
In the 31 years we have lived at this house we have NEVER had a Rubbish
Skip and never thrown things away. Any collectors programme that comes on
TV we are able to say "We have those".
We have not been affected here with the cold weater or the big rains but
today a little colder down to plus 6C.
Have a Happy Easter Holiday.
