Hello all fellow members,
I thought I would respond to a particularly nasty piece of gossip concerning
the Isle of Man DXpedition, that I was co-ordinating for October September
1997.
May I stress that the only financial cast imposed on the G-IPAARC was the cost
of returning a cheque for deposits to myself, the only other cost agreed for
the event was to cover insurance for the borrowed equipment, about œ30, but
because the event was cancelled, so was this commitment.
In view of the allegations emanating I am preparing a full report for IPA
Headquarters, copies of which will be available from me for an ssae.
May I request that any person whom has a problem with my integrity, or
intentions within G-IPAARC please let me know, so that I may stand down
from the post of Chairman, which I otherwise commence on 1st October1997.
Please can we get over the backbiting, bitching and whingeing and get on with
the job in hand, taking G-IPAARC onwards into the millenium, the next sunspot
cycle as a strong active group.
