Friends, colleagues and associates,
After a successful recce to the Isle of Man recently, by Harry G0GFP and myself
we are pleased to announce that the DXpedition will go ahead for the week
commencing Wednesday 29th October 1997, this will cover the IPA contest
weekend. An outdoor pursuits centre has been booked that sleeps 18 (it is
already one third full) a full HF station is being provided and the local club
is allowing us the use of a 4 element beam on tower, mounted on a trailer.
Other accomodation has been arranged for those who wish more comfort at
reasonable rates. A provisioal list of social events looks very entertaining?
A mailing to all G members and secretaries of other sections is proposed for
the end of May. For more info in the interim contact can be made with myself or
