Hi everybody, I am very happy to inform you that during the IOTA contest
(24-25 july 1999) the Eolian Dx Team will operate from Patti Reef
(Scoglio di Patti). The reference for IOTA is EU-166 but Patti reef is
also important for I.I.A. because has never been activated before!!!!
The team will be as follows:
IT9NGN\9 Tino - Qsl via Callbook (or via buro via IT9HLN);
IT9HLN\9 Maurizio - Qsl via homecall or via Callbook;
IT9FCC\9 Nino - Qsl via homecall or via Callbook;
IT9\IK8PGM - Roberto - Qsl via homecall or via callbbok.
Operation will start early in the morning, before the contest begins.
We will probably use 100 w and a vertical antenna for 10,15,20, and 40 mt.
Let's hope that the weather'll be good 'till Sunday afternoon ...!!!
There is very little room on the reef, so if you won't hear us that
probably means that the wind is strong and that the operation has failed!
