Pessegueiro Is. EU-167 in IOTA Contest
- CT1CJJ-Lopes, CT1EEB-Jose, CT1EEN-Sam, CT1END-Ze Carlos, CT1ENQ-
Miguel, CT1ETZ-Ruben , CT1AHU-Moreira and ON5NT-Ghis will be active
from Pessegueiro Island ( EU-167 ) between 24 and 27 July . They will
operate as home call/p (QSL via home call) and will participate in
the IOTA Contest as C Q 2 P (QSL via CT1EEN) . The operators will
have two stations with amplifiers, beams and special antennas for
40 and 80 metres and will concentrate on North America, Asia and
Oceania, where EU-167 is a most wanted. Sam, CT1EEN reports it is
extremely difficult to be granted permission to land and to spend
the night on Pessegueiro, so do not miss this chance to work EU-167!
