I was half wrong.

It's not a tropical band freq.
But it's not a broadcast freq.
Not according to:

> UNITED KINGDOM
> FREQUENCY ALLOCATION TABLE

It says it's that broadcasting ends at 4.000MHz.

So does document RA365 from OFCOM.

Upto 4750 is aeronautical mobile.

It pays to use something a bit more authorative than a recycled CB mag ;-)
