It is with great sadness that we relay the loss of Ron Roden, G4GKO
who passed away on Sunday evening March 28th, 2004.
IRUMS Region 1 and all its members mourn for the great loss.
Ron was the IARU region 1 monitoring system Coordinator for 12 years.
He has been presented with a medal of honor in San Marino as a token
of appreciation for his work in defending the Amateur Bands.
His contribution has played a vital role in defending the Amateur Radio Bands.
Our heart-felt condolences and thoughts go out to his family as they mourn his loss.
May his soul rest in peace. He will be greatly missed.
