Hello Wolf and all,
I too have been hearing them for years, and unfortunately Anatel IS
sleeping. While Europe and North America as well as some Far East
countries have it together, mosy governments, particularly notorius SA is
very lax, to the point of being lawless nations.
Little to nothing can be done with those who just don't care. Like my
landlord, he won't fix a thing unless it directly affects HIM and then
the bedroom ceiling must fall on his head first. No point complaining, we
simply must cope with QRM as best we can.
Now if it were coming from the US or Germany it would be another story!
The FCC has it's hands full ,so progress is slow, VERY slow, but progress
none the less. Recently they cleaned up VHF Marine which had become
another 11M CB. Now you can actually call another boat and be heard!
BTW, who is this Roger and why does he beep? (;->)
