Over the past few years I've amassed "membership" of many user groups
such as on Yahoo as well as checking out newsgroups e.g uk.radio.amateur,
uk.telecom.mobile and frankly I find them all pretty useless.

Rarely do I see anything of any use.

Just reams and reams of daft users posting crap questions like:

"what's the best coax for my FT817 ?"

or

"Radio hams or radio amateurs?"

Utterly pointless and time wasting tosh that's going to get ther chop.

Apart from some email and a few useful websites I'm finding that I
need the internet less and less and finding it less useful each day
I use it.

I seem to be going back to traditional media, such as newspapers with
respected reporting (instead of vacuuous blogs!), BBC Radio 4 and
ye olde worlde TV Teletext.

And if there's nothing of interest on these outlets then I'll read a book
or play radio.

This so called information society is a waste of time, too much tittle
tattle, junk and trivia and content for content's sake !

Wither the internet.
