Sorry Andy I don't understand where original measurements went and how
only the conversion for our WW friends got through.

The height is truly, one third part of a Short Cubit. The diameter, one
fifth part of a Short Cubit and the base, one seventh part.

Truthfully, as they were only measurements of guesswork from memory, I
must admit to looking at a modern, plastic, one third Yardstick and taking
the measurements from there.

I didn't estimate the weight of the contents. Dry I would say it is around
half a score Bekah.

The hot water added I would say is about a half Log.

As for plastic being used for the pot, I am sure from the smell it must
add to the flavour of the 'food'.

Is this the attraction to modern man. Fed milk from a plastic bottle
through a plastic teat. Weaned on a plastic spoon with one of those
plastic bibs with a catchment area, under their nose.?

More seriously new born babies are laid to sleep on a cot mattress that
reeks of PVC fumes.
