Hello "borrowers",
Well, Evert and Pete have thier points but if you shave your heads we
could ALL see them. (;->)
Worn out electrons or not, some of us don't send back EVERY milliamp.
Many of us charge batteries for backup power, so those electrons go into
the batteries and only come out when the mains fail. Then they go into
emergency lighting and our radios where some of them are transmitted to
other stations. Where they go from there depends on how the receiver is
configured and some are absorbed by the atmosphere, often accumulating in
large numbers which are returned to us suddenly and often unexpectedly as
lightning bolts. When one strikes my antenna, I already have it connected
to the battery so those electrons are stored and re used. A rather
inexpensive source of power which the electric company refuted, but since
lightning is considered in the US to be "an act of God" I told them to go
argue with Him about it and stop trying to take away a gift from someone
else which is a whole other legal tort.
Then there is the personal issue. As you may have read in some of my
other bulls from time to time, I have received countless electric shocks
(and some from reading these bulls) and have absorbed enough electrons to
qualify as a cation. My partner Ann Ion (anion) really loves the
discharge, but I won't go into details for the ones familiar with Ohm's
law. Now would I have the electric company monkey around with my personal
electrical experiments? HECK NO! Maybe Ann and I will exchange ring mains
one day, but it will be a private ceremony and the electric company will
NOT be invited!

Now please excuse me while I dig out some depolarizing paste and electron
puree from the Leyden jar and make a nice high voltage sandwich for lunch.
