Hi Bob and readers,
I beg to disagree on one point, OE does indeed get rid of spam as easily
as Mailwasher, however I do agree perhaps not as quickly because MW saves
download time. Then maybe I could disagree on that too since you have to
take time to read what you have and decide whether or not to download it.
I haven't done a time and motion study so I just could be wrong. (;->)
I must however set you and others straight once again about bouncing
spam. NEVER reply in ANY way to spam, you are only verifying a sucker
address and inviting even MORE spam! Spammers don't have mail boxes your
bounces go into so they won't be subject to your puny DoS attack AND the
addresses they "send" it from are phoney or spoofed. In the latter case
you're bouncing that spam right into someone else's mailbox, YOU are
spamming HIM!
Mailwasher may be your "drug of choice" but PLEASE don't bounce, DELETE!
