Hi Andy
You snipped my SB to suit your comments.
IF you kept my SB on your computer just have a re-read.
The M3 kindly put me put me on to Mark G4LCH who in fact is a fully qualified
IT Engineer and also if you look at www.gb3dx.org you will see Marks name Call
sign emblazon across the screen. The site is excellent and well worth a visit.
All about RA matters.
Anyway...what is wrong with Computeractive. If you are too lazy to still keep
on learning then do not buy/any the magazine. I on the other hand am always
learning even at 72 years of age. The old adage still holds " You are never to
Old to Learn ". There is never a minute of any day when I am lost for
something to do.
" Brain Power-----Use it or Lose it ".
It seems that you will "Lose it".
Altzheimers Disease used to be known as " Senile Dementia "..Are you beginning
to forget where you put your false teeth ( Dentures ) or your very short
sighted spectacles or walking-stick or Zimmer Frame.
Keep taking the tablets your psychiatrist prescribed...or have you forgotten!!
Remember that ONE DAY you yourself will definitely become " A Boring Old Fart
" with such a short sighted view to life and your elders.
> Thankfully there's less and less of them each year .
Ever thought that you may not reach their age. It does happen you know.
I would hate to live with such a terrible attitude to life and people.
How old are your Mum & Dad. Seems they should give you a piece of their mind
or a big slap. When you are talking about Old People you do realise then that
you are also talking about your own Mum & Dad. Shame on you. I wish that my
parents were alive. At least at my age I can now appreciate what they went
through and yet they were both younger than I am now when they left this life
but I have my memories.

Two weeks ago a nephew of mine sent me a wedding photo of his Mum & Dad taken
at their wedding in 1950. Roy had made and excellent job at colouring a B&W
photo. I am in the photo aged 18.
My two brothers and their wives are also in the photo. The thing is that ALL
the people in that photo are Dead bar two young children. The photo is now a
Wallpaper which I can look at at any time as I have a choice of four pre-set
wallpapers which I can click on from my Taskbar. It was nice to see a large
portion of my family after 54 years.
