Hi David and readers,

Sorry to hear that you had to wrangle with the RA in order to get to the
bottom of that complaint. The FCC sends a complete transcript of aledged
offending transmissions and aparant violations right along with the NOV
which must be replied to within 10 days.

If there are any questions they may be included in the reply, nothing is
settled until everybody is satisfied as to the validity of the matter.
BTW, we once had a real jackass of a field engineer on a personal
vendetta against a handful of CBers and a barrage of complaints got him
"promoted" to a desk job. The fellow we have now like the one before the
jerk is quite thorough and fair, much to our satisfaction.

Anyway, like the conversation goes, freedom is an illusion especially
when it comes to information. Our FOIA is way ahead in the censorship
department, the proverbial "they" only let you know what they want you to
know without recourse. If you want a good joke, just look up some
recently released docs on UFOs, more black smears than text. (;->) Yeah,
nothing has changed except for more papers with more black smears. The
closing scene of Raiders Of The Lost Ark rather sums it up nicely.
